Aira Force lies on land belonging to the National Trust which means it is well looked after and comes with a network of footpaths and viewing stations. Aira Beck passes through the land on it's journey to Ullswater, one of the more famous lakes in the Lake District. The waterfall drops around 65 feet over a couple of levels and can be safely viewed from a bridge, just below the upper fall. In fact the bridge compliments the view of the waterfall when viewed from ground level.
